“Let's Make a Movie!” Summer 2008
Movie Making Just for Kids

Dates/Time:	Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 Noon (17.5 hours total per production) Production 1: July 14 - 18, 2008 Production 2: August 18 - 22, 2008
Location:	Acoustic Planet Music Studio 151 McPhillips (behind Salt Spring Roasters) and various downtown Ganges film locations (all walkable from the studio)

In this course, students will learn fundamentals of filmmaking and participate in the complete production of a short film:

• Choosing a story
• Writing the script
• Storyboarding
• Location Scouting
• Props/Costumes/Actors
• Shooting the Film
• Editing

Completed productions will premiere in a Student Film Festival to be held at the end of summer.

Class size limit: 8 students.

The tuition of $165 includes production notes and a DVD copy of the final film.
